Warble Entertainment Agency has over 2000 creative acts on its books, ranging from live rock and roll bands to fire performers, singers waiters, caricaturists, circus performers, magicians.
Warble was going from strength to strength, but felt that their existing brand identity didn’t position them as well as it could. They wanted a cool and quirky, yet professional, brand image to elevate their profile and win larger corporate clients.
We started our research and creative design process and understood that the main premise of the agency was its high-quality rock and roll bands, but the other acts were very important too.
We also discovered that Warble was named after a warbling bird. We loved this idea, so started exploring this playful theme.
Our solution was a sticker that you might find on a rock and roll drum set, that could easily be applied to every piece of their marketing and promotional collateral. Within it we highlighted the name Warble and chose a distinctive typeface that emphasised the letter ‘W’. We filled the ‘W’ shape with illustrations that represented the plethora of acts on their books.
We also created illustrations of birds in different situations with brand messages to go with them, such as branded mugs with the message – spitting feathers, and the booking contract – a birds-eye view.
