Cheshire Chat is a brand developed by the NHS South Cheshire Clinical Commissioning Group and NHS Vale Royal Clinical Commissioning Group, to help shape the future of local healthcare. TRCREATIVE was approached by the CCGs to create its corporate brand identity. The brief was to show brand associations and continuity with the NHS, and to also promote Cheshire Chat as a tool to get communities talking about local healthcare. Cheshire Chat uses a five-question survey as a way of getting people engaged.
As Cheshire Chat is tailored around communication and getting people talking, we created a series of five speech bubbles to represent the five different questions, and colour coded them, using colours from both of the CCG’s brand colour palettes.
We utilised the NHS’ light blue colour and brand font to help carry brand association and brand awareness, then added the ‘+’ icon, used to symbolise healthcare into the middle, so that all of the ‘conversations’ were shown to be talking about healthcare.
