St Luke’s Cheshire Hospice wanted an identity for their sponsored walk event, the Midnight Walk.
The Midnight Walk is the Hospice’s biggest fundraising event and continues to grow year on year.
This year, the Hospice hoped to raise £140,000 to fund 940 nurses’ shifts on the Inpatient Unit. Each shift costs £149.04 and each hour of nursing care, £31.04.
The brief was to create a bespoke illustration with landmarks from the walk route. It also needed to contain a cross section of typical walkers, this year being the first year that the Midnight Walk allowed men and children.
Our bespoke illustration captured the clock tower from Reasheath College, an icon black and white Tudor building from the town centre in Nantwich and Crewe train station, represented by a train and station marker.
Our cross section of walkers included the special request of adding in a ‘swarthy Mike’ from TRCREATIVE.
